A while ago, my grocery store was getting rid of some unbought Dutch beer, don’t remember what it was called. They were selling it for $1.50/six pack. I bought about ten on principle.

I have plenty of other spirits, it’s just that this is the last of my “go tos”. Most everything else is either more expensive or doesn’t taste as good (or both in a couple of cases).

I did find a bottle of Tullamore DEW squirreled away, so that’s probably next up.

That’s always a sad moment. Because you have to realize that it didn’t take nearly as long as it should to empty a bottle, and now you have to go the store for another, thereby acknowledging your problem while displaying it to the world.

I’ve had that. And the MM. If you can get some, try som 40 Creek DOUBLE barrel Reserve. Oh my. it is incredible! About $50 a bottle, but so worth it to me. P.S. y’alls got good taste....

Thanks. I reviewed the Hobble Creek a while back. It’s really inexpensive but hits above its price class. I was surprised that I liked well enough to sip neat. What you’re talking about is a whole ‘n other level. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m ready to poison my liver in style.
